Cleaners & Coffee are a family ran business a stones throw from Morning Crescent & Kings Cross station, I paid the owner, Has, a visit this week and asked him a few questions, here’s what he had to say.
How long have you been in the dry cleaning business?
“We’ve been in the dry cleaning business over 15 years, we’ve established ourselves as one of the best dry cleaners in the community. As well as this we offer master tailor services which are renowned in the area, we can now add coffee to our ever growing list of expertise.”
Why did you want to add a coffee bar to an already well established business?
“I added coffee as I wanted to bring true speciality coffee to the Camden community, as well as this I’m extremely passionate about coffee (mainly espresso) and feel that this is a great bridge to nurture relationships with our clients be it coming for cleaning and coffee or just a drink. By combining speciality coffee with best in class tailoring and cleaning, we are now able to set a benchmark for what a modern day experience should be in your local cleaners or coffee shop.”
How has adding a coffee bar to the shop effected your business?
"It’s definitely helped our consumer experience, we’re changing the landscape of what your typical cleaning experience should be and this is reflected through the convenience of ordering a coffee while you wait for your cleaning or tailoring. Or even to WFH or have meetings in our seating area. Having Terrone Coffee has expanded our client base too, so we can now appeal to newer generation clientele that may not be familiar with dry cleaning and are more experience focused.”
